Privacy Policy
The short version: we don't track you. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts.
What we collect when you browse
Effectively nothing. This site uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party trackers. Even our fonts are self-hosted, so your visit isn't shared with any outside service. (Given that we build tools to catch sites that do leak visitor data, anything else would be hypocritical.)
Like virtually all websites, our web host keeps standard server access logs (such as IP address, timestamp, and the page requested) for security and reliability. These are ordinary operational logs, not a profile of you, and we don't use them for tracking or marketing.
What we collect when you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, so we can reply. We use that information only to respond to you. We don't add you to a marketing list without your consent.
Sharing
We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. We don't share it with third parties except as needed to operate (for example, the email provider that delivers a message you send us) or as required by law.
Other sites we link to
This site links to our products, WCAGcheckr and ForensicConsent, and to third-party sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.
Your choices
Because we don't build profiles, there's little to manage — but if you've emailed us and want your message and address removed from our inbox, just ask at cliff@locustware.com.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll revise the date below. Material changes will be reflected here.
