Organic Traffic Platform
“When YOU control the traffic, you control your financial future!”
– Cliff Carrigan, Locustware Software
Consider traditional Internet Marketing. You create online assets like web sites, videos, images, etc. all targeting the highly coveted keywords in your niche. The same keywords that everyone in your niche is also spending their days and money to rank for because some expensive, fancy software said that these are the important keywords that you must target to get the traffic in your niche. Does this all sound familiar? How’s that going for you?
Now let’s consider the real world without all these preconceived notions of how to find the all elusive traffic that is so critical to the success of any real online business. Put yourself in the shoes of the people that all have the same problem and are looking for a solution. Do all of these people use ONLY the same search terms found by that expensive software mentioned earlier. Well yes. SOME of them do. But look at all the other search phrases for your niche that are not in this list. Thousands of them. No – tens of thousands of them. Think about it. Are these terms absolutely useless? No. They are not. People are using these exact phrases to search the internet for that elusive solution to their problem. There is not much traffic for all of these terms individually but when added together, they represent significant traffic. Traffic that you can use to send to your offer. And the competition for these keywords is much, much less because all the “smart” people simply ignore them.
Now let’s imagine building a website that uses ALL of the search terms for your niche. High competition, medium competition and low competition search phrases. So we have a site with tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands or even millions of pages. As some of these pages start to rank and get traffic from all those low competition, low volume search phrases, our web site starts to be noticed that it is providing information that people are searching for in it’s chosen niche. This is a signal to the search engines to have a closer look at some of the medium to high competition search phrases being used on our site and testing out what people think of them by inserting them in the search engine results pages (SERPs). As those pages start to receive traffic, the authority of our site continues to build and more and more of the medium to high competition search phrases continue to be randomly shown in the SERPs and clicked. Our traffic continues to build and build and build…
HOLD ON there partner! These search engines are sensitive little critters. Many times, it seems like they just don’t like some web sites no matter how well you make them. And this can happen more times than you can believe. So in order to increase the chances that we might get noticed and also increase our odds of getting traffic in our niche, we better build more than one web site. After doing some analysis, we decide that the best thing to do is to build at least 10 sites using all these search phrases for our niche. That should give us some pretty good odds of achieving our goal of niche relevant traffic.
Sounds pretty straight forward. Right? EXCEPT – How do you build hundreds of thousands to millions of pages using all these search terms on not just one site but on at least 10?
